Chapel Hill, North Carolina is located in the northern central part of the state and is home to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is a mid-sized city with a population of more than 50,000 people.

Chapel Hill experiences a moderate climate, seeing highs in the summer up to 85 degrees. The winters are cool, with the average temperature about 32 degrees.
