Eugene, Oregon

Eugene, Oregon, located in the Willamette Valley, is sixty miles east of the Oregon coast and is the county seat of Lane County.   Eugene has a population of more than 153,000 people and is the home of the University of Oregon.

Because of its beautiful scenery, the city has been nicknamed “The Emerald City.” With all of this natural landscape, it is easy to find outdoor activities to in which to participate and hiking, kayaking, and rafting are just some of the outdoor adventures waiting in Eugene.

The climate is a Mediterranean-like and offers mild, cool winters and warm, dry summers.   The average temperature run anywhere from 45 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year.
