Marble Falls, Texas

Marble Falls is a small town located in the center of Texas and is home to about 7,200 people.   It sits 85 miles north of San Antonio, 45 miles west of Austin and is snuggled next to Lake Marble Falls, after which the town is named.  To the west, residents have a view of the Granite Mountain, and the rolling hills of the countryside are picturesque, providing the town with stunning views of the surrounding scenery.

Marble Falls enjoys a moderate climate. Summers are hot and dry, and winters are cool and rainy. The temperatures for the area range from 99 degrees in the summer to 30 degrees in the winter. Most days, the weather is compatible for outdoor activities.

There is a lot you can do in Marble Falls, especially if you like water sports.   The town is known for great accommodations for fishing, boating, hunting, and camping. One of the largest drag boat races is held here every year in August. There are also the Longhorn Caverns a few miles north of town.

Marble Falls, with its serene lakes and opportunities for fun, is a great place to retire. Not only for people who love the lake, but also for people to love small town life surrounded by beautiful scenery.
