Newly completed chalet that overlooks long range views. Our area takes pride in the John C. Campbell Folk School which offers classes from blacksmithing to broom making and weekly concerts. Festivals, Flea Markets and the Brasstown Antique Village will surely keep you busy.  Murphy is within a days excursion to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Gatlinburg (Pigeon Forge and Dollywood).

Nice, new (May 1999) cedar sided cabin nicely tucked away only 7 mi. from Murphy.  Whitewater rafting is very popular here, with 2 major rivers. Many antique shops dot the area.  There is the John C. Campbell Folk School where many mountain crafts are made.  Not far away (within 30 miles), is the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. From May-October they have live country artists performing including Sammy Kershaw, Lonestar, JoDee Mesinna and many more. The fair begins the first week in August. In Fall they have a 2 week Fall Festival with arts and crafts, food, live entertainment and much more.
